For two decades, Jemma has dedicated her life to serving others, beginning her career as a nurse in 2005. With a strong foundation in healthcare and further studies in Psychology, Criminology, and Criminal Justice, she has worked across medical, therapeutic, and operational management roles, both nationally and internationally. Her commitment to community welfare has shaped her approach to care, advocacy, and support.

In 2021, her world changed forever when she lost her daughter, Maia, after she was born spontaneously at just 23 weeks. In the wake of this heartbreaking loss, Jemma found a renewed purpose: to support children with rare diseases and their families through some of the most challenging journeys imaginable. She established a pediatric disability organization, and through her relentless dedication, became a trusted advocate for families navigating complex medical
and disability needs.

Then, in 2023, inspired by Maia and her unwavering desire to create meaningful change, M Sensory Apparel was born. With a deep understanding of the unique
challenges children with disabilities face, she set out to design clothing that not only provides comfort but also instills confidence and celebrates individuality.
